Position Overview

Develop and enhance robust Java-based automations, ensuring quality, performance, scalability, and continuous improvement of solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement complex process automations (RPA) using Java and compatible technologies;

• Make strategic architectural decisions to ensure the scalability, performance, and security of solutions;

• Lead UAT (User Acceptance Testing), deployment, and assisted operations to ensure the quality and efficiency of deliverables;

• Create and maintain detailed technical and functional documentation for developed automations;

• Develop integrations with APIs (RESTful and SOAP) and oversee communication with other systems;

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying and implementing process and solution optimizations.

Requirements

• Advanced experience with Java for backend development;

• Experience with frameworks and tools such as Spring, Git, Maven, Docker, JPA, etc.;

• Strong experience in software architecture, technical analysis, and complex requirements;

• Proficiency in developing RESTful/SOAP APIs, microservices, and system integrations;

• Experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Sikuli, HTMLUnit, etc.;

• Ability to lead code reviews, perform unit testing, and apply software quality practices;

• Advanced knowledge of relational databases (MySQL, SQL Server, PostgreSQL);

• Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum, XP, Kanban) and practices such as TDD, BDD, and DDD;

• Strong knowledge of Design Patterns, SOLID principles, and Clean Code practices.

The following skills are not mandatory, but having them will make us an even better match!

• Experience with non-relational databases (MongoDB);

• Experience with messaging tools (Kafka, RabbitMQ);

• Knowledge of tools such as Swagger and Jenkins for continuous integration and delivery;

• Familiarity with development methodologies and task management tools such as JIRA and Azure DevOps.
